Experience varied landscapes and local cultures with this trek that crosses over from Langtang to Helambu via the pilgrimage site of Gosainkund lake set amid majestic scenery.
A varied trek that starts with the trek up the Langtang Valley, then on the return goes to the sacred lakes at Gosainkund and crosses over the Laurebina pass to the attractive and welcoming Sherpa villages of Helambu. An extra day may be planned at Kyanjin Gompa with optional excursions, for example a long day’s trek up the valley to Langshisha Kharka and back, entering the magnficent landscapes of the upper valley. A popular day’s climb is Tsergo Ri (4984m) or directly above Kyanjin Gompa you can climb Kyangjin Ri going on from the first summit to the second summit at 4665m. A visit to the cheese factory at Kyanjin Gompa is popular.
